Cattleman's National Bank was chartered on June 2,1986 in Round Mountain, Texas to provide banking services to the rural area residents. A.W. Moursund, a life-long Hill Country resident, attorney and judge, was the driving force in the birth and development of Cattleman's National Bank.

Today, Cattleman's National Bank remains locally owned and has expanded to six locations that provide full service banking to the residences and businesses located in Round Mountain, Blanco, Marble Falls, Johnson City, Dripping Springs and Stonewall.
